Andi's Clients Say . . .
"I am a 52 year old woman who was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my shoulders one year ago. It was not unusual to wake up during the night with my right arm aching and tingling. My fingers actually would go numb. I was told by a specialist that this would be ongoing and as I got older I might require surgery."
"After four or five months of bi-weekly trips to the chiropractor and massage therapist to relieve the pain, they indicated that I needed to do some excursing. Andrea Miller to the rescue. Andi, put me on a workout schedule and it is amazing how well my shoulder has reacted to these sessions. Not only have I not had to pay out medical expenses but the benefits of the overall workout has shown in my general health. I feel so much better."
"This was recently shown even more when, because of sickness, I was unable to work out for a couple of weeks. The shoulder ache came back and I was back to square one. After only a couple of sessions that ache subsided and I know that these work-outs have to become a life long commitment. Thank you Andi for showing me what I must do to keep fit!"

"Our bodies gather physical strength through physical activity and exercise. If we continue to challenge ourselves physically our bodies constantly change and evolve positively. This response to physical activity keeps us healthy and able to meet the demands of each day."
Physical Fitness is defined as the body's ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy and to resist disease. Fitness can also be divided into 5 categories: Aerobic Fitness, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility and Body Composition.
Canada's Physical Activity Guide to Healthy Active Living, developed by Health Canada, offers the following recommendations:
Individual Conditioning:
Using these guidelines, the previously completed physical activity evaluations and your goals, we will design a fitness program for you, incorporating cardiovascular activity, resistance training and flexibility. With an understanding that people learn in a variety of ways, your trainer will demonstrate and explain exercises and fitness concepts in a way that matches your learning style. During training sessions, you will receive ongoing feedback regarding exercise technique, correction when required and exercise and/or program modification when the need for a greater or lesser challenge is indicated. We will continually offer the accountability, encouragement and motivation you need to help keep you on track to a healthier lifestyle.
Small Group Fitness Training:
Maximum fun and motivation!! This option is designed for small groups with similar goals and fitness levels. Exercises will be demonstrated, again with emphasis on safe effective execution. Each member of the group will receive feedback and if necessary, technique correction and exercise modification. With this service, the first participant pays full price and each additional participant (up to 4) pays a reduced rate.
For larger groups, please call (289-836-9881) to discuss your needs.
